A two days workshop on "TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT ISSUES OF TEA INDUSTRY IN NORTH-WEST INDIA" was organized on 11-12th April, 2008 at this Institute. The main focus of this workshop was on managerial needs at the nursery management level of tea; husbandry practices level; plucked leaf to withering through; manufacturing process-black tea (orthodox and CTC), oolong tea and green tea; packaging; value addition and marketing.
